There is no airport in the Tamberma area. Most visitors arrive overland from Lomé — a long bus or shared taxi journey of 10-12 hours up the country's main north-south road. Closer in, Kara is a 90-minute drive south of Kande and the regional hub. Crossing from Benin via Boukoumbé is possible and offers a different angle on Koutammakou. Bring a multi-entry visa if planning to cross.
