Béja's sights are modest but rewarding for half a day's wandering. The Byzantine kasbah on the hill, the Great Mosque in the old quarter, and the small archaeological collection are the main draws, but the real point of stopping here is to use the town as a base for the Roman sites at Bulla Regia and Dougga.
