Paro's sights cluster in the valley's broad floor and along its surrounding ridges. The Tiger's Nest is the headline, but the Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum above it are essentially compulsory, and the older temples — Kyichu Lhakhang especially — repay anyone willing to look beyond the famous photograph. Most can be done by car or short hike. Chele La Pass and the ruins at Drukgyal Dzong are the natural extensions out of the valley.
