Epic Arts Café

Social enterprise café employing Cambodians with disabilities, with good Western and Khmer food

Epic Arts Café is a social enterprise run by Epic Arts, which works with Cambodians with physical and sensory disabilities. The café trains and employs people with disabilities and puts the profits back into the organisation's programmes. This sounds potentially pious but the food is genuinely good — Western breakfasts, sandwiches, baked goods, and Khmer dishes — and the garden courtyard is one of the nicest places in town to spend a morning with a coffee.

The organisation runs regular music and dance performances at the café, mostly in the evenings. The café is a reliable choice for vegetarians, and the breakfast menu runs until lunchtime. Prices are slightly above the cheapest local options, which is entirely justifiable.
