Getting There

Bengbu is one of the main stops on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail corridor, which makes it genuinely easy to reach from either direction. Nanjing is thirty-five minutes away; Shanghai is just over an hour; Beijing takes around three hours. The high-speed station — Bengbu South — sits on the city's southern edge, about five kilometers from the center, with taxis readily available.

The older Bengbu Station in the city center handles slower conventional trains, which include more regional connections. If you're coming from somewhere not on the high-speed network, check whether your train terminates at North or South station and plan accordingly.

There is no commercial airport serving Bengbu; the nearest options are Hefei Xinqiao Airport (around two hours by road) or Nanjing Lukou Airport (under two hours via the high-speed line plus airport express).
