Zumiao Temple is one of Foshan's defining sights, a richly decorated ancestral temple complex tied to local religion, craftsmanship, and Lingnan architecture. It is also associated with martial-arts memory through the city's Wong Fei-hung and Ip Man traditions.
The site rewards attention to roof ceramics, carved wood, courtyards, and performance spaces rather than a quick photo stop. It is the best single place to begin understanding Foshan's historic identity.
