Jintai Temple is a hillside Buddhist complex in Zhuhai's western Doumen area, far from the border-crossing bustle of Gongbei. The setting is the main reason to go: temple halls, wooded slopes, and a calmer Pearl River Delta atmosphere than you get in the city's coastal core.
It is a good stop if you are already exploring western Zhuhai or want a temple visit that feels local rather than packaged. Allow extra time for the cross-city journey, since distances inside Zhuhai are deceptive. The temple pairs well with Doumen countryside and reservoir scenery.
