Guiping is on the high-speed rail line between Nanning and Wuzhou, with G-trains making the 90-minute run from Nanning several times daily. The high-speed station is several kilometres from the city centre, connected by taxi or bus.
Slower conventional trains and frequent buses also link Guiping to Nanning and to cities along the Xun River corridor including Liuzhou. For travellers coming from Guangdong, Guiping sits on the natural corridor between Nanning and Guangzhou and is an easy stop in either direction.
For West Mountain and Jintian, taxis or hired vehicles from the city centre are the practical options — public buses exist but run infrequently to the Jintian site.
