Liuzhou Confucius Temple

Rebuilt Confucian temple overlooking Liuzhou’s river landscape and cultural promenade.

Liuzhou Confucius Temple is a rebuilt temple complex on the city's riverfront cultural route, designed in the old Temple of Literature tradition. It is not an ancient survival in the way some Confucian temples are, but it has become one of Liuzhou's clearer cultural landmarks.

The best reason to visit is the combination of architecture and setting. Walk the halls and courtyards, then step back toward the river to see how the complex fits into the wider Liujiang landscape, especially in the evening when the waterfront starts to glow.
