Liyufeng Scenic Area is the karst hill that gives Liuzhou one of its most recognisable central landmarks. Paths climb through a compact park of limestone outcrops, small caves, pavilions, and temple corners, with views back across the city and the Liu River basin.
It is also tied to local folklore around the singer Liu Sanjie, so the place carries more cultural weight than a simple hilltop lookout. Visit late in the afternoon if the weather is clear: the climb is manageable, the light is better, and the city feels less hard-edged from above.
