Zunyi's main attractions divide between revolutionary history — centred on the Zunyi Conference site — and the remarkable natural landscapes of the surrounding prefecture, particularly the Chishui Danxia formations to the west and the Maotai distillery town to the south. The old town is pleasant for an evening walk.
