Jingpo Lake rewards those who slow down. The main waterfall at the lake's northern end is the set-piece, but the volcanic geology scattered through the forest — lava caves, basalt formations, the Huoshu crater — gives the park a second layer of interest beyond the scenery. Early mornings on the lake in calm weather produce the mirror reflections that the place is named for.
