Kat Hing Wai

Kat Hing Wai is a small walled village in the New Territories and one of the older Tang clan settlements in the area. Its grey brick wall and narrow entrance are the main reason to stop, especially if you are interested in Hong Kong before the high-rises.

The village is still lived in, and much of what sits behind the wall is ordinary modern housing. Treat it as a short historical stop rather than a full afternoon sight.
