Hollywood Road is Hong Kong's main antique corridor, a kilometre of dealers selling Chinese furniture, Qing dynasty ceramics, scroll paintings, jade, and export porcelain. Quality varies — some shops are serious dealers, others sell reproductions — but the density and range is unmatched in the city. Man Mo Temple anchors the uphill end; the galleries and bars of SoHo begin around the mid-section.
Cat Street (Upper Lascar Row), one block downhill, is the open-air companion to Hollywood Road: covered stalls with cheaper curios, Maoist-era memorabilia, old coins, pocket watches, and second-hand goods. The two are best done together on a slow morning walk from Sheung Wan MTR.
