Baiyun Cave Scenic Area combines a short cave system with an outdoor military museum, which makes it a more varied stop than the name suggests. The caves run for a few hundred metres, with Baiyun Cave as the largest chamber.
Outside, the military displays add an unexpected second half to the visit. It is a selective Wuhan outing, best if you are already heading into Jiangxia or want something beyond the central museums and riverfront sights.
