Getting There

Shangrao is on the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed rail corridor, one of the most important rail lines in China. High-speed trains connect to Shanghai Hongqiao in about 2.5 hours, to Hangzhou in around 1.5 hours, and to Nanchang in about one hour. Wuyuan is one stop beyond Shangrao on the same line (around 20 minutes). The city's own station, Shangrao Railway Station, is centrally located and easily connected to hotels and the bus station.

Shangrao Sanqingshan Airport operates limited domestic flights, primarily to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, offering an alternative to rail for visitors coming directly from major hubs.
