A Shintaro Tezuka cocktail bar that has been on the World's 50 Best Bars list multiple times. The conceit is genuine: a Japanese bar-supply shop on the ground floor, a hidden door at the back, a tiny bar upstairs, another hidden door, another bar — three or four floors of progressively quieter and more exclusive rooms. The cocktails are precise and beautiful; the prices accordingly.
You will need to know the bar exists to find it; the staff at the door enforce a small admittance ritual. Reservations strongly recommended.
