Zhenru Temple

Zhenru Temple is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai's Putuo district, with origins in the Yuan dynasty. The temple complex includes a nine-storey pagoda, prayer wheels, riverfront colonnades, bells, steles, paintings, and a fish pond.

It is a quieter temple visit than the central sights and is best paired with other stops in northwest Shanghai.
