Red Leaf Valley is a seasonal mountain area near Duyu Ferry, best in October and early November when the slopes turn red and orange. Short trails lead to photo spots and views over the Fen River valley.
It is most rewarding as a brief autumn outing from Linfen rather than as a stand-alone trip outside the foliage season.
