Tieniu Gate

Tieniu Gate is one of Leshan's surviving old city gates. It was first built during the Song dynasty and rebuilt in 1394, when it was known as Lizheng Gate.

It is a compact historic stop rather than a headline sight, but it adds useful city history to a Leshan visit focused on the riverfront and Giant Buddha area.
