This memorial park honors the Overseas Chinese drivers and mechanics from Southeast Asia who worked on the Burma Road during the Second World War. More than 3,000 left their homes to keep the wartime supply route moving.
The park includes a small museum, making it one of Ruili's better stops for understanding the border region's role in the war.
