Wanding Ecological Park is a large cultural park near Ruili's jade trade area, with themed halls on border history, jewellery, antique cars, old weapons, and rare wood art.
The most useful reason to visit is the historical material on the Chinese Expeditionary Army and the wartime links between Yunnan and Myanmar. It works best as a short stop paired with the nearby jade market and border sights.
