Vathia Gonia Beach is a smaller, sheltered alternative to Ayia Napa's louder headline beaches. Its curved bay, pale sand, and calm water make it good for swimming, while the location between Nissi Beach and the harbour keeps it easy to reach without feeling completely removed from town.
It is still Ayia Napa, so do not expect solitude in high summer. The advantage is scale: you can swim, rent a lounger, and escape the thickest crowds for a while. Early morning and late afternoon are the nicest times.
