Vijaya Hotel occupies the clock-tower building at the Seven Roads junction and is one of the most recognised pure-vegetarian restaurants in the city. The food is straight-down-the-line south Indian: dosas in the morning, full meals at lunch, tiffin items in the evening. Prices are low and the service is fast.
The building itself, with the clock tower visible from each of the seven streets that meet outside, makes it as much a navigation reference as a meal. If you have ten minutes between buses, this is the right place to fill them.
