Kadapa Airport (CDP) is about 14 kilometres west of the city and has limited domestic flights — primarily to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Chennai on small ATR aircraft. Schedules are thin; check before relying on a specific connection.
Cuddapah railway station is on the New Delhi–Chennai main line and is the more practical way in. There are direct overnight trains from Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Mumbai; a daily Vande Bharat from Bangalore is the fastest option. The station is a short auto-rickshaw ride from the old town.
By road, Cuddapah is on national highway NH40, with regular government and private bus services from Hyderabad (8 hours), Bangalore (6 hours), Chennai (8 hours), and Tirupati (3 hours). The drive from Tirupati passes through the lower Eastern Ghats and is the most scenic of the approaches.
