Karimnagar's real rewards are slightly outside town: the fort at Elgandal, the pilgrimage temple at Kondagattu, and the great dam reservoir at Lower Manair. In town itself, the silver filigree workshops are worth an hour, and the archaeology museum offers a quick survey of Kakatiya and Satavahana artefacts.
