Ramadugu Fort is the most prominent structure in the village and the reason most visitors make the detour from Karimnagar. The fortification dates back several centuries and features massive stone walls rising around 30 metres above the surrounding landscape. Though partially ruined and unrestored, the fort retains an imposing presence and the stonework gives a good sense of the scale of the original construction.
You can climb sections of the walls without much difficulty, and the views from the top look out over the village rooftops and the dry, flat Deccan countryside stretching towards Karimnagar. There are no facilities, no entry fee, and no crowds — in practice the site is left entirely to its own devices. Bring water and wear shoes with some grip. Early morning is the best time to visit before the heat builds.
