A reasonable hands-on science museum aimed mainly at children, on the south side of the city near Khanapara. The exhibits cover the usual ground — basic physics, biology, energy, prehistoric life with a small dinosaur park outside — and the place is busy with school groups on weekdays. Adult travellers might find an hour worthwhile; families with kids easily two or three.
A planetarium is attached, with daily shows in Assamese, Hindi and English at fixed times — check the schedule online. Cheap entrance, closed Mondays.
