Damodar Kund is a sacred tank at the foot of Girnar Hill, one of Junagadh's most important pilgrimage landscapes. Pilgrims come to bathe, perform rites, and begin or end visits to the temples and shrines scattered around the mountain.
The tank is most atmospheric early in the day, before the heat and traffic build. It belongs with Girnar, the Ashoka edicts, and Junagadh's old monuments as part of a city where sacred geography and political history sit tightly together.
