Jatashankar Mahadev Mandir sits in the Girnar landscape outside Junagadh, where temple-going and hill walking blur together. The shrine is dedicated to Shiva and is valued as much for its rocky, stream-fed setting as for the act of worship itself.
Expect steps and uneven ground rather than a drive-up monument. It is a good choice if you want a quieter Girnar-side excursion, especially in or after the monsoon when the surrounding greenery and water give the place more life.
