Kullu town is a working market town, not a tourist hub, so its food scene is local. Look for siddu — a steamed bread of wheat and yeast stuffed with walnut paste or fenugreek — and chha gosht, a slow-cooked lamb curry with yogurt and gram flour, the signature Himachali dish.
Most of the recommended places are in the bazaar; reservations are not a concept here.
