Kullu town is mostly a base. Its own sights — Raghunath temple, the Dussehra ground, Akhara Bazaar — take a half day. The real attractions sit in the surrounding valley: temples in the hills above town, viewpoints on the road to Manali, and the side valleys of Parvati and Tirthan a short drive away.
