The main markets cluster around Mall Road in the town centre. For handicrafts, woollen shawls, and Tibetan goods, head to Old Manali or Vashisht, where small shops sell Kullu caps, handwoven shawls, and silver jewellery at better prices than the tourist-facing stalls downtown. The Tibetan Market and Hong Kong Market on Mall Road are the busiest, though bargaining is expected.
