Sankat Mochan Temple is a popular Hanuman temple on the slopes outside central Shimla. It can be reached by road or on foot, and the terraces around the temple give wide views back toward the town and the surrounding hills.
Come for the setting as much as the shrine. It is a calm break from the Mall Road area, especially on a clear morning.
