Bhadarwah is about 200 km from Jammu, taking roughly 7–8 hours by road. Fly or train to Jammu, then continue by bus or shared Sumo. Most buses from Jammu leave around 8:30–9:00am, so aim to reach the bus stand by 7am. The journey breaks into four stages: Jammu to Udhampur, Udhampur to Batote (via Patnitop), Batote to Doda, and Doda to Bhadarwah.
Trains from Delhi now reach Udhampur, from where the onward road journey to Bhadarwah takes 5–6 hours.
