Vasantha Vallabharaya Temple is a quiet old temple on a small hillock in south Bangalore. It is far less visited than the Bull Temple or the cave temple, but that makes it a useful stop if you are exploring the older southern side of the city and want something local rather than monumental.
The draw is the setting as much as the shrine itself: a modest rise, a traditional temple atmosphere, and a break from the traffic-heavy parts of Bangalore.
