Peechi Dam is a reservoir and picnic spot in the forested hills east of Thrissur. Visitors come for the water views, boating when available, and the chance to see the greener edge of the district away from the city.
It is easiest as a short excursion by taxi from Thrissur. The reservoir borders protected forest, so the setting is the main reason to go.
