Imam Nasir Mausoleum

A small but historically important pre-Mughal tomb in the old city, dating from the 14th century and one of the few surviving Islamic monuments of Jalandhar's sultanate period. The mausoleum is built in a simple square-with-dome plan, brick-faced and plastered, with traces of original tilework around the entrance arch. It commemorates a local Muslim saint who lived in Jalandhar in the time of Muhammad bin Tughluq.

The tomb is set in a small fenced compound that is generally open during daylight hours; ask local shopkeepers if the gate is shut. It is not signposted in English. The surrounding old city streets are worth exploring on the same trip — narrow lanes, brick havelis, and the kind of dense bazaar that has largely disappeared from the modern parts of Jalandhar.
