Wonderland is Punjab's best-known amusement and water park, on the Lohar road south of central Jalandhar. The park has a mix of standard rides, water slides, and a few larger thrill rides; entry includes both the dry and wet sections. It is largely a domestic-tourist experience — a weekend day-out for Jalandhar families and an obligatory stop for school trips from across the state.
The water park is a genuine relief in the brutal Punjabi summer, when temperatures regularly exceed 40°C. Bring swimwear (cubicles for rent). Weekends are crowded; midweek is much quieter. The food court is functional rather than memorable; carry water in summer.
