Trevor's Tank

A small reservoir built by a British engineer named Trevor in 1897 to supply Mount Abu town with crocodiles for sport — yes, really — and now the most reliable place in the wildlife sanctuary to spot animals coming to drink. Crocodiles, sloth bears, and the occasional leopard come down from the forest in the late afternoon. An elevated stone viewing platform at the eastern end is fenced off from the water. Take a guide and go in winter for the best sightings.
