Rajsamand lies about 65 km north of Udaipur on NH 58. The journey by road takes roughly 90 minutes depending on traffic. Shared jeeps and local buses run regularly between Udaipur's main bus stand and Rajsamand town, making it straightforward to visit as a day trip. Private taxis from Udaipur can be arranged easily, and many drivers will wait while you explore the lake and then continue onward to Nathdwara or Kumbhalgarh if you wish to combine sights.
There is no railway station at Rajsamand itself. The nearest major railhead is Udaipur, which is well connected to Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, and other large cities. Nathdwara, about 17 km south, also has some bus services that pass through Rajsamand.
