Roman Catholic Cemetery

Agra's Roman Catholic Cemetery predates the Taj Mahal and holds graves from the Mughal period onward. The earliest known grave dates to 1611, a reminder of the Armenian, European, and local Christian communities that lived in the city.

The best-known monument is John Hessing's Tomb, often called the Red Taj, but the cemetery as a whole is worth time for visitors interested in Agra beyond the main Mughal monuments.
