Jungle Korner is one of Gorakhpur's better-known restaurants, popular with local families and travellers who want a proper sit-down meal. The menu covers north Indian standards alongside some grilled and tandoor dishes, and the environment is considerably more comfortable than the railway-area dhabas.
The restaurant gets busy in the evenings, and on weekends reservations are not always easy to manage in the casual drop-in way that works elsewhere. It is a reasonable choice if you want something a step above a dhaba without paying city-hotel prices.
