Krishnanagar's two major draws are the Rajbari, the eighteenth-century royal palace at the heart of town, and Ghurni, the clay-modelling quarter on its northern edge. Both can be seen on foot in a single day; allow extra time for the river and a longer wander through the bazaars in between.
