The Museum of Santal Culture is a small community museum near Santiniketan devoted to the history and daily life of the Santal people. Much of the collection came from local residents, which gives the displays a grounded, lived-in quality.
It pairs well with Ballavpur Wildlife Sanctuary or the Tagore sites in Santiniketan, especially if you want a clearer sense of the region beyond the university town.
