Getting Around

Amed is spread out along the coast road, so walking works only within your own village. A scooter is the most useful way to move between Jemeluk, Lipah, Banyuning, and the viewpoints, provided you are comfortable with narrow roads and occasional gravel.

For temple trips, wreck dives with gear, or transfers after dark, hire a local driver. The coast is quiet, but distances are longer than they look and street lighting is limited.
