Lipah Beach

Lipah Beach is one of the softer, more swimmable stretches of the Amed coast. The sand is dark, the bay is calm in good weather, and the reef close to shore makes it a simple place to snorkel without organising a trip.

It is less dramatic than Jemeluk, but often more relaxing. Families like it because the entry is straightforward, while divers use the area as a base for nearby reefs. Stay inside the protected water and ask locally about currents before swimming far from shore.
