Wawomudha is a short volcanic hike north of Bajawa, leading to small crater ponds that can shift colour after the rains. The walk takes about an hour and gives good views over the surrounding hills, even when the ponds are less dramatic.
Do not expect Kelimutu; this is a quieter, smaller outing. It is still worthwhile if you have time in Bajawa and want a half-day walk close to town.
