The Kujang Monument is a 25-metre obelisk in the Sempur area of Bogor, topped with a replica of the kujang — a traditional Sundanese ceremonial blade with a distinctive hooked shape. The monument was built in 1982 as a symbol of Bogor's Sundanese cultural identity and is one of the city's most recognisable landmarks.
The surrounding area, Sempur Park, is a large green space popular with local families on weekends. The monument itself is best seen from the street; the park is a decent place to rest after the Botanical Gardens.
