Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geopark is the big southern excursion from Sukabumi Regency, a wide landscape of coastal cliffs, waterfalls, rice fields, beaches, and viewpoints. It is too large for a casual city stroll, but it gives Sukabumi a stronger travel identity than the city alone would have.
The geopark is best treated as a full-day trip or an overnight extension. Roads and weather matter, and the most rewarding stops are spread out, so a driver or local plan helps.
